An extremely killer Protocaster made in Williamsburg Brooklyn by Josh Grove. Josh has been getting a lot of attention for his vintage restoration work and period correct 100% nitrocellulose laquer finishes and realistic aging and also for his amazing Protocaster Guitars.
This one is a 59 style, two tone sunburst with a rosewood board, a short lived combination that is so cool. Usually a two tone sunburst would mean a 50's guitar with a maple neck but for a brief time in late 59 there was this combo!!!
This guitar has an amazing neck hand carved by Josh and feels fantastic in your hand. The body is very resonant and a great sounding set of Peter Florance pickups top it all off!!! Comes with a lacquered and aged tweed thermometer style Protocaster case.
