Epiphone Elite (Elitist) SG '61 reissue, Made in Japan with Original Factory Case
There are a few small indention marks on the body. NO buckle rash or any other marks on the back or the neck. The horns are perfect with no imperfections. There is a small nic with a about half in surface crack in the finish under the volume controls but I have filled and buffed it out. The neck is absolutely perfect with no fret wear and is adjusted perfectly with no buzz. The guitar is light and nimble and better than any USA SG I have owned period!
All new electronics, pots etc. Professionally installed.
Pickups: Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge - has a perfect blend of power and tone: both single-notes and chords jump out of the amp and fill the room (or the track) with a wall of sound. The balance of tones is classic — thick, boosted mids, big lows and fat highs. Really doesn't get any better!
Neck Pickup: Dimarzio Humbucker From Hell - Bright and clean...almost glassy sounding with about the same power as a PAF..has an almost acoustic quality.
You can get the best of both worlds from this guitar...and the volume rolls back without any tone loss so you can really clean this guitar up when needed.
