2 Vintage Teisco Tube Amps Express 5 + Northland Canadiana MIJ JAPAN Tremolo + Reverb RARE

Both amps are working but will need some TLC to function at their best. Both amps are listed separately with more info given on both. I have made this listing to try and sell both amps at a discounted rate.

Both amps are approximately the same size with similar features.

10” speakers and upgraded 3 prong cords on both amps

Teisco Express 5 has reverb + tremolo + variable voltage (110-220)

Very rare amp. Hard to find. Only found one other here on Reverb that sold for a couple hundred and wasn’t even working. This one powers up and does work. Volume and Tone controls work well. Reverb works but is pretty faint (not as big and spacious as a Fender unit). Tremolo doesn’t appear to work at this time. Most likely could benefit from a cap job.

Has dual voltage that was presumably installed at factory so this should run in European countries (220V) as well as US, Mexico, Canada (110V). Pretty cool!

Amp has vintage wear commensurate of age and use. There are dings, dents, scratches, worn marks, small tolex tears etc. Pics and video tell the story.

Northland Canadiana III has tremolo is a tremolo tube amp presumably made by Teisco for the Canadian market. The purple tolex is really cool with silver sparkle thread and black squiggly lines throughout. The back panel was missing when I got this so I made one and mixed up some paint to match the purple as close as I could.

The amp has a 10” speaker and 5 tubes:

(3) 6AV6

(1) 6AQ5

(1) 6A4

Amp has an updated 3 prong cord and I’m guessing based on output volume that it’s only 2-3 watts.

Amp powers up and passes signal and the tremolo appears to work when first switched on but slowly dissipates. Tone works as it should. Volume is pretty much all or nothing. Amp has pretty low volume overall even when dimed but still sounds great.

Selling as is in FAIR condition as they both work but both need some TLC (possibly recap or other repairs).

Please see all pics and video for more details.

Video demo was taken last year showing both amps in stereo (while accompanied by a Yamaha PSS-3 keyboard and Realistic MG-1 bubbling in the background).

Selling as is. Any future cleaning, maintenance, repairs will be the new owners responsibility.
