Crafted from Paiste's renowned CuSn8 bronze alloy and finished with traditional Swiss hand-hammering and lathing techniques, this 17" heavy crash cymbal delivers a sophisticated blend of raw character and refined sound. The distinctive darker finish showcases the intricate hammer marks and lathing grooves, creating a visually striking cymbal that performs as beautifully as it looks.
Built slightly thicker than the standard 900 series crash, this heavyweight cymbal produces a higher pitch with extended sustain and a silvery, full-bodied crash tone. The pronounced bell cut provides clarity and definition, making it ideal for drummers seeking a crash that cuts through the mix with authority. The 17" size offers the perfect middle ground between 16" and 18" options, delivering versatility for various playing styles and musical genres.
