Stupidly rare.
Very few are this original, and this clean.
Low action, no issues, typical '58 C neck, great hand feel.
Some fret wear on first five frets.
Incredible tone, very acoustic, resonant piece of wood.
Nothing ever un-soldered.
Original pickup, pots, tuners, wrap.
Has chip on side of headstock, see closeup pix.
Little dings around edges, see photos.
Nut Width - 1.75"
Weight - 7.12 lbs.
Ships, as found in a late 60's Gibson Red Lined Plush Hard Case.
Gibson made somewhere 429 TV's in 58, but there are perhaps in the neighborhood of maybe 100 of these single cuts made that year before switching over to double cut.
How many are still original with no repairs?
Very few, one could speculate, that still look and sound like this one, that's if you could find one..
