Corder/Fibes 8x14 Maple Snare Drum W/ 20 Lugs - Chrome Over Wood (C013-1)

On consignment: 1980s Corder (previously Fibes) 8x14 20-lug snare drum in good condition. It is clean, complete, and functional. The original sticker badge was removed/lost at some point. There is pitting on the chrome lugs and wrap. This drum was originally equipped with an SFT strainer and butt plate, but the previous owner installed a generic butt plate and a Nickel Drum Works strainer. Consequently there is an extra hole plugged with a bolt. The composite bottom on the strainer cracked and was repaired (see picture). It is sturdy and works as it should. Two lugs were replaced on the snare side with double-sided lugs when the SFT butt plate was removed (see picture). The bearing edges are good. Heads are in good shape. Internal muffler works.
