Selling a Sherwood Deluxe guitar husk. This Sherwood guitar was manufactured by the Kay Musical Instrument Company as a house brand for Montgomery Ward. It is laminated maple back and sides and solid spruce top Sherwood Deluxe. Made in late 40's/early 50's.
The center seam of the top has a hairline split to it that goes from the bottom up. Photo #6. The frets are original and never touched by a file. I believe the neck has had a neck reset in the past. It may need another neck reset. I will leave that up to the new owner.
It is being sold "as is" and for a luthier repair project. There are no guarantees. There are no returns on this one.
4th photo shows where two non-original screw holes are located.
