Vintage 1980's Electra X330 MPC Electric Guitar! Japan, Player-Grade!

Up for sale is this vintage 1980's Electra X330 MPC electric guitar. This is a good playing instrument but has a pretty gnarly control cavity repair and includes no modules so it falls into the affordable, player-grade category.

This instrument is all original with the exception of a few missing screws and one of the 9V battery terminals is missing from the module compartment. Oddly enough, we did toss too modules into it to test the circuit and it functioned fine and as intended. As is typical, the large toggle switches are bent pretty badly, but they function as they should.

This one took a bad jack hit at some point which cracked the side and back along the control cavity (pictured). It was poorly repaired, but appears to be stable. Other than that, which is fortunately unseen from the front, the instrument is in pretty nice condition for its age, although it does show typical dings, scuffs, and scratches that one expects from a forty year old guitar. There is one ding on the back of the neck (pictured) that can be felt while playing but it isn't bothersome to any of us here at the shop.

Our tech just went over this one and cleaned it up, sprayed out the electronics, and adjusted the set up slightly. It plays great with comfortable, low action all the way up the neck. The original frets show some wear but still retain a lot of life and there is plenty of room to adjust the set up for your exact preferences.

No case or gig bag is included, but the instrument will be well-packed to ensure safe shipping. This one isn't perfect but it's a great guitar for someone who wants one or someone who needs a back-up MPC instrument that's budget friendly.
