60's Slovenian Double Bass

Good first double bass. Bought in 2023 for £1200. I have upgraded the strings (d'darrio helicore E & A, pirastro slaps D&G - worth at least £200), and will include a Gewa case (bought for £144), and a carbon bow which is currently broken but can be taken to a luthier (I bought it in its current state for £50).
Overall a brilliant bit of kit for the money. It's tough and has real character. Compared to a similarly priced new or nearly new instrument this is a much better option and will not lose value. I've worked with this over the last year and a bit and am only selling because I've upgraded and don't have the space for two.
Original shop sticker on back of scroll from the 60's which is very cool! Panel gaps in back (I've taped over one that was rattling), but they don't affect the structural integrity of the bass.
Willing to meet in the central belt in Scotland.
