Here is a true collector’s horn. This trumpet was immaculately restored by Charlie Melk.
It is a 1948 New York Bronx 67 Bach Stradivarius in clear lacquer. It has a 37 bell and a 7 lead pipe. Playing this horn was described as driving a race car.
This horn was built at the Bronx factory before Vincent Bach moved his manufacturing to Mount Vernon.
Rich in tone and color making it superb for different music styles.
I contacted the Bach factory and was emailed the shop card which is included in the pictures.
Also included is the musician music union card carried by the individual who order the trumpet from the Bach factory in 1948.
The union card is a rare treat found in the original trumpet case.
