Ibanez Jem custom 1990 - Blue

Custom built with Orignal Ibanez Jem 7bk neck. The body was made by Makoto Onishi (former Hollywood Performance Luthier) at the Hollywood custom shop during the 90’s. One of a kind!! 2 piece thick book matched flame maple over Koa with nitrocellulose clearcoat on back & I’ve done the front with multiple coats of tru oil. Thick finish has a bit of texture to it, looks great. Guitar weight 7.25 lbs. very very light.

Beautiful Angel wings flame. The top was originally natural, I sanded down and stained it blue, don’t like the color? You can easily sand it down and stain it any color you like. The wood is unbelievably beautiful!!

Toatally decked out with all gold hardware, Ibanez edge pro trem(no need to cut the ball ends off). I don’t believe you can get these trems anymore.
Gotoh locking tuners Heavy Brass spring claw.
comes with 2 backplates that I made with leather(you can Find full set for $30).
no center backplate as I didnt feel the need to make one, I prefer it without it.

Tom Holmes H456 pickup which is hotter than the 455 or 454 and rare pickup routinely sells for $600 this one is from the early 90’s from what I know. I’ve had it for almost 20 years myself.
Guitar plays fantastic. Action is super low, any lower and the strings would be resting on the frets

If you want to save $600, I have an original dimarzio Evo V2 in white with gold poles, perfect fit/look! I can change the pickup before shipping See last picture.

Comes with an original Ibanez prestige case, guitar fits it perfectly

Ask any questions Negotiable but this body cost me $1k, original Ibanez jem neck was another 1k, hardware another $700, case 150 so I won’t give it away I’d rather keep it
