A 12-fret 000 cutaway from Preston Thompson out of Mahogany and Adirondack spruce. Beautifully adorned with faux tortoiseshell binding and peghead veneer. Built in the traditional manner, it weighs very little and sounds very big, with forward shifted pre-war X braces, slotted peghead, ebony pyramid bridge, ivoroid purflings, inlays and Waverly tuner buttons. Twelve-fret 000s tend to be really successful out of mahogany, and this one is no exception. Truly an exceptional instrument and heads above most of the contemporary builders.
