Vintage 1960's Calrad DM-16 Dynamic Microphone, sounds excellent, w/stand-cable

     Offering a vintage 1960's Calrad DM-16 Dynamic Microphone, working with Desk Stand. During this era, Japan was flooding the market with microphones under a multitude of different names, but Calrad was clearly the most popular, with this model marketed for general P.A. and home recording use. Many of their mics emulated the style of some popular American models, especially the RCA 77, however this particular DM-16 emulated the stylings of the Astatic 77.

      The overall condition of the satin chrome casing is good, clean, and has very little sign of use or wear. This mic has the factory element intact, when tested produces strong output and clean full-fidelity audio. (Voice sample can be heard on the listing video.) The frontal switch, originally wired for dual impedance, has been re-wired for low impedance and converted to on/off. The pivot joint holds the tilt angle with the 2 side thumb nuts.
