These Sonic Splicers are no ordinary audio manipulators! Instead of simply combining or splitting two sounds, this device alternates between two sounds as quickly as the “slice” knob is set.
There are two ways the Splicers can be used!
MIX mode: two inputs 'sliced' to one output, each with volume knob and 'slice' rate
SPLIT mode: one input is split and 'sliced' between two outputs
The double splicer can double splice! An output from one side can be input to the other, creating a double-sliced effect. It has all of the features of TWO single Sonic Splicers in one.
Each input on the slicers has its own bespoke LED, monitoring the output and also giving the device a truly unique, psychedelic futurist aesthetic. These devices’ enclosures are transparent, built panel-by-panel out of UV-cured resin, letting the LED’s illuminate the circuitry within as the LED’s dance to the slicing.
