Promark Artist Series Shira Kashi Oak 747 - Neil Peart Drum Sticks The 747 was designed by Neil Peart of Rush. It features a classic 5A diameter but is longer and features a thicker taper. The large oval bead provides a dark, warm tone. The 747 is the perfect stick when more volume is required. Shira Kashi Oak drumsticks offer an unmatched level of power, strength, and durability. Promark was the first company to introduce oak drumsticks in the US, and remains the only drumstick maker to offer Shira Kashi Oak sticks continuously since 1957. Oak is the densest and heaviest of our available wood.
