The V1 version of the Tele Plus built from 1990 to 1995 is one of the coolest Tele style guitars Fender has ever made, and one of the most collectible models other than those from the 1950s and 60s, of course. Not to be confused with the more recent second version, which is much easier to find! Check out xhefriguitars.com for more about the history of the Tele Plus. There are not too many of them and the prices are going up on the long term, so here is your chance.

This one is the Deluxe version with the tremolo! It is in excellent condition, very few dings and dongs for a player of this age. This guitar is a player - a collectible one, but not just a collectors' item. Check the photos, they are part of the description. The most noteworthy "issues" I can think of are a minor ding near the end of the headstock, a very minor patch of wear on the fretboard within the first fret and a small ding on the fretboard in the third fret. Lovely clear finish, with the wood pattern coming through beautifully. All original, as far as I can tell, even including the original hard case as shown in the pictures, and certainly the Wilkinson roller nut and the pickups, cool Lace sensors: double red in the bridge position and blue in the neck position. All electronics work as they should, and the same goes for the rest. Current trem configuration is floating, this is the factory setup as much as I understand, and the way Jeff Beck set up his guitars. Beck played an important role in the history of the Strat Plus, which also led to the design of the Tele Plus some years later, and trying to approach some of his sounds, I like this guitar being set up this way. But you could of course adjust it to anything just like any tremolo-equipped Fender.

Weight is 4.2 kg (9,26 lbs), so still on the reasonable end of the spectrum compared to other guitars of this model and period.
