What is a “Factory Demonstration Model”?

This is a nearly new guitar that has been used only to demonstrate its performance by an ESP sales rep and is offered for sale at a discounted price. The guitar's specific condition will be described in the listing and any marks will be noted. We complete a full factory setup and hand-inspection before shipping. It should also be mentioned that a “Demonstration Model” comes with ESP's Factory Warranty.

Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks, and quality that working professional musicians need in an instrument. The EC-1000T combines a traditional full-thickness mahogany body (no waist cut) with an elegant flamed maple top in Violet Shadow finish. This outstanding design is complemented by black hardware that includes a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, LTD locking tuners, and control knobs. Its three-piece mahogany neck offers a matching headstock finish and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with white pearloid ESP flag inlays and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. This guitar’s sound is generated with a set of direct-mount Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker pickups. Each pickup offers three voicings, selectable with push-pull controls. On the neck pickup, Voice 1 offers the coveted vintage PAF tone, Voice 2 is an airy chime, and Voice 3 is a vintage single-coil. For the bridge pickup, Voice 1 is the PAF, Voice 2 is the classic hot-rodded humbucker, and Voice 3 is an overwound single coil.
