Here is a Shires Custom 'Joe Alessi' Tenor Trombone Bell. The Shires custom trombones are among the finest trombones being manufactured today, and their modular design allows players to customize their instrument to suit their specific needs and goals. This Joe Alessi bell has been used as a demo and is in perfect condition. It has the following specifications:

Bell Taper: TI - More compact and narrower through throat, Reminiscent of vintage Conn instruments. Tends to have a darker tone quality and more sound density. Great for players with naturally expansive sound or that want to get more sound forward

Bell Type: 2 Traditional two piece bell made from a separate stem and flare that is brazed together, then spun. Two piece bells tend to have great stability and density to core of sound. Unsoldered bead favors broad, wider, and more diffuse sound and softer, more covered articulations

Bell Material: Lightweight Yellow Brass

Bell Treatment: Special annealing treatment specific to this bell model ensures that each one plays according to Mr. Alessi's specifications
