Washburn WMS Custom Shop USA Mahogany Body Set Neck with OHSC 1998 - Natural

Here is a 1998 Washburn USA Custom Shop WMS with a one piece mahogany body, a mahogany neck with a long neck tenon and a rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets.

The guitar is in near mint condition, with only a few light marks on the headstock from restringing the guitar.

It has an open pore body with no sealer with lacquer sprayed over the wood. I love these type guitars because of the way they feel when you pick them up. Kinda like a well worn pair of jeans.

I think of a Gibson “The Paul” when I play this guitar.

The hardware is all chrome, with Grover Tuners, and chrome TOM bridge and aluminum stoptail made by Gotoh. It also has aluminum Dunlop strap lock end pins which came from the factory.

It comes with Seymour Duncan pickups, with a ‘59 in the bridge and a JB in the neck. It has CTS pots with a Sprague Orange Drop cap.

The frets are like new with no wear. There are a few indentations to the fretboard, please see pics. Please ask for more pics if you need them. The guitar may have been refretted at one time, and this may be the reason for the indentations. I cannot feel any of them when I play it, but want to be clearly transparent when it comes to these. The previous owner was not when I purchased it.

It comes with the original Washburn USA Custom Shop hard case.
