1937 National Triolian Resonator. Steel body painted with a mahogany grain finish. Serial # A 6366 This one has the very cool art deco pickguard that National started in 1937 and only did for a few years. Ivoroid binding , the finish has checking and the paint has it's share of chips and we all know they chipped very easily. There doesn't seem to be much playing time as the frets and the back of the neck are excellent shape. The headstock front and back are very clean. No dents to the body and still has strong shine and color for being 88 yrs old. Weighs 5lbs 6oz. Original chipboard case is in fair condition. This was a one family owned guitar since 1937. Plays great regular or slide. Rare cool piece.
