This Vintage Neumann M269 Multi-Pattern Tube Condenser Microphone includes original wood case & PSU; newer cable and aftermarket shock mount .
The M269 looks like a U67 but uses an AC701 tube, providing more gain with more top end air than a U67. Wise choice if you feel a stock 67 is a bit dark on top and you are looking for more air in the high end.
The AC701K triode tube is the higher-quality version of the AC701. Created for the telephone network in Germany, the 'K' stands for Klingarm, which means 'low ringing noise'. This tube was specifically designed to be less susceptible to tube microphonics.
