Here is a Duesenberg 49er in Blue Pearl in Very Good to Excellent condition, completely stock and accompanied by its original hardshell case. The 49er takes the familiar single-cut idea in a distinctly Duesenberg direction, pairing a solid mahogany body and arched solid maple top with a longer 25.5" scale, string-through-body hardtail design, and the versatile combination of a Domino P90 in the neck and GrandVintage humbucker at the bridge. At approximately 9.35 lbs, it has a substantial, planted feel with plenty of clarity and definition.

Full Description
The Duesenberg 49er is a solidbody single-cut built around a mahogany body with an arched solid maple top and a set mahogany neck.
One of the things that separates it from a more traditional single-cut design is the 25.5" scale length. That longer scale gives the guitar a slightly tighter feel, with a more immediate attack and defined low end.

The pickup pairing is classic Duesenberg:

• Neck: Domino P90
• Bridge: GrandVintage Humbucker

The Domino P90 provides a warm, open neck sound with plenty of articulation, while the GrandVintage humbucker adds more output, punch, and focus at the bridge.
The middle position is especially useful. Duesenberg designed the switching so that certain low frequencies are filtered from the humbucker in the combined setting, helping the two pickups blend with more clarity rather than simply becoming thicker or darker.
The guitar uses a hardtail, string-through-body design with a Duesenberg steel saddle bridge, giving it a very direct and solid feel under the hands.
The Blue Pearl finish is one of the most distinctive features of this particular 49er and presents beautifully against the cream binding, cream pickguard, nickel hardware, and rosewood fingerboard.
This example remains completely stock with no modifications.

Condition
Very Good to Excellent used condition.
The guitar has been carefully maintained and presents very well overall.
The frets are in excellent shape with no meaningful wear affecting playability. The controls operate properly with no dead spots or scratchiness, and the guitar plays cleanly without unwanted buzzing or fret-out. There are no significant dings or hardware oxidation noted.
