Coltskin heads and gut string rope. This vintage snare is from the late 1800's to early 1900's I believe from research. It is in good condition for its age being over 100 years old. See pics for details. There are some youtube videos of these being played stock or modded and they sound great. Looks to be all original hardware and strainer. This snare is unmarked like a lot of leedy snares I see, but the hardware appears to match up. thanks for looking.
