2012 Fender Kurt Cobain Road Worn Jaguar Left Hand Lefty + Case + Book + Extra Pickups Classic Player Jaguar Special HH Wiring
Hard to find LEFTY Fender Jaguar with nitrocellulose Road Worn finish!
Guitar has been modified with a “Classic Player Jaguar Special HH Wiring” with Seymour Duncan ZEBRA Humbuckers (SH-2n Jazz NECK + SH-4 JB BRIDGE pickups $200 value). The original Dimarzio pickups are also included.
The Classic Player wiring allows for greater functionality as the Humbucker pickups can be used as single coils as well. The traditional 3 switch pickup plate and simplified volume and tone controls also give this guitar a more “classic“ Jaguar look as opposed to the Cobain mod of the 3 way toggle and 3 knob volume / tone plate.
Classic Player Jaguar Special HH Wiring controls are shown on last picture. Please see picture for current function of controls.
Comes with original Fender G&G hardshell case, original Cobain Booklet, original Dimarzio pickups (not installed), original tremolo arm and original bottom volume / tone control plate (not installed).
Please note that the original neck plate has been changed out with a Fender “F“ logo plate. I do not have the original Cobain neck plate. Also note that the original toggle switch pick up selector plate and electronics are not included here as the previous owner opted for a more traditional Jaguar 3 switch plate. Also note that the 3 original chrome knobs are not included as these have the more traditional Jaguar style knobs and single volume and tone control.
Guitar plays fine as is but any personal cleaning, setups, maintenance or repairs will be the new owner’s responsibility.
Packed safely and shipped quickly.
This is a pre owned guitar that is 13 years old and as such may show some wear outside of it’s original “road worn” finish.
Case has some light wear on exterior but overall in very good condition. All latches and hinges work and handle is secure.

Original write up and specs:
One of Fender's most distinctive signature models ever is the Kurt Cobain Jaguar guitar meticulously modeled on the battered and highly unusual 1965 Jaguar that Cobain wielded during the heady early-'90s era when Nirvana ruled rock and led a musically stunning and culturally subversive movement.
Fender craftsmen have reproduced Cobain's battle-hardened Left-Handed Jaguar down to the last unusual detail, including its worn finish, dual humbucking pickups and unique electronics and controls (which were already in place when Kurt acquired the guitar in summer 1991).
Unique features include an alder body with Road Worn aged finish and hardware treatment, bound fingerboard with pearloid dot markers, Stratocaster headstock shape with 1950s-style "spaghetti" logo, DiMarzio humbucking DP103 PAF 36th Anniversary neck pickup and DP100 Super Distortion bridge pickup, triple knurled "chrome-dome" knob configuration (volume-volume-tone), three-position toggle switch, black chrome Adjusto-Matic bridge and Gotoh sealed tuners. Available in right- and left-handed versions.
Accessories include a black textured vinyl hard-shell case and an exclusive Fender Kurt Cobain book with photos and commentary by Charles Peterson and an insightful interview with Nirvana guitar tech Earnie Bailey.
