Amazing rare Firebird in Polaris White. Original finish. Guitar plays beautifully with low action and no buzzing. Neck is straight and it’s no breaks, cracks or repairs. Frets appea to be original and are clean.
All original except tuners which are older schallers (I have a set of the originals if you are interested). Also the bridge is not original but is compensated for an unwound G.

Trem is period correct but not original to this guitar.

Guard is definitely a Gibson guard from the 60’s but strangely has pickup height adjustment holes on either side of each pickup, even though the pickups are adjusted from the pole piece screws. This guard may have been ordered later as a replacement from the factory, or possibly left the factory this way. It has been in this guitar since the mid 80’s when the current owner purchased it.

No body cracks, breaks or repairs. It has the common chunk of mahogany missing under the guard near the neck pickup which shows up in any google search.

Comes with what appears to be a 70’s lawsuit Ibanez hard case that fits perfectly.
