Sabian designed the 11794XBM HHX Synergy Medium hand cymbals for orchestral percussionists, concert bands, and marching ensembles seeking immediate projection. Crafted from cast B20 bronze in a 17" diameter, these instruments combine a high-profile shape with specialized Touch Response shaping to deliver full frequency response at any dynamic volume.
Large-peen hand hammering across the surface balances bright attack with warm, complex undertones that blend into full ensembles. The medium weight provides articulate control during quiet excerpt work and robust power when cutting through heavy brass sections. Vault specialists individually voice and sonically test the cymbals to produce a clean, balanced feel on every stroke.
Key Features:
- Cast B20 bronze alloy construction provides musical durability and broad frequency response
