Here’s a stack of Acoustic Research greatness. It’s from the 1980s. It’s sleek and sexy and looks like it should be Batman’s main rig in his basement bar. Its sound is outta hand! One hundred fifty watts per channel. Clear, warm, deep and ass rattlingly loud.
The three components work great together. The C6 pre amp is sleek, but functional and intuitive. The functionality can be stowed away behind a front panel, but heard all the way down the block. The C4 tuner grabs stations with ease and clarity and the C10 power amp will blow the paint off the wall at the other end of town. It’s pretty amazing.
