Rare Fender Custom Shop Jaco Pastorius Relic model with pick guard tint. I am the third owner, the original owner received it as is from an authorized Custom Shop dealer. I’ve never seen another model with this unique coloring. Comes with original hard shell case. This bass has barely been played, it is a collector’s item. Serial number R29941 for authenticity.

Excellent condition, no scratches, dings, or marks besides the relic patterning. Has never left my or the previous owner’s smoke free studio. I’ve played and owned two other Custom Shop Jaco Relics over the years, but this one has the most sustain and the warmest mwah/bloom tone by far because it has the thickest layer of epoxy I’ve seen, at least 3.5mm (see the 6th picture). Very sensitive to finger pressure, it just sings. You can really dig in with roundwounds on this fretless and play and play. Fingerboard has no blemishes or scratches. The neck is thin, very fast and very smooth, straight as an arrow with at least a quarter turn in either direction for the truss rod.
