The Embassy EA300 RVT was the Flagship of Epiphone's Pro amp line in the 1960's. These amps are extremely rare, and are very difficult to find in working order, let alone in the flesh.

This is an Ultra Rare 1966 Epiphone EA300 Embassy, vintage guitar amplifier. This was [physically] Kalamazoo Epiphone's answer to Fender's Twin Reverb. During much of the 1960's, Epiphone was Gibson's Kalamazoo non-identical twin and shared most of the same amp schematics as the Gibson amps. Own the Gibson version as well, they look prettyyy much the same.

The EA300 RVT uses a quad of 6L6GC's along with their standard OA2 tube rectifier to produce a capability of 80 watts RMS into 2 1960's 12s.

This amp has plenty of usable power but it does not mirror the twin or any other amp when it comes to tone and performance. Using a totally unique tone stack, the Embassy is voiced more towards the highs and mids and perfect to project Epiphone's (and Gibsons) line of humbucker and mini-humbucker equipped guitars. Has been primarily been used in a smoke free east Nashville recording studio, powering external cabinets. There's something about this amp that sits guitars differently in the mix than the usual Fender / Vox / etc flavor.

The EA300's two channels are split left side normal and right side has tremolo and reverb. Please note in the photos that the reverb knob is missing. It is turnable with a screwdriver, but it is stubborn.

Notice the cooling vents on top.

Like the twin and the AC30, the Embassy weighs in at about 70 lbs.

Very, very, very limited production numbers for these, so pricing and information will be near impossible to determine. Photo of the other amp at $1600 isn't their flagship, but is to illustrate their other amps go for more, so pricing this one below that at $999.
