Holloman Custom Drums 5x14" Walnut - hand rubbed urethane over danish oil

This beautiful 5x14" walnut segmented snare is the next drum that you need for your arsenal. Segmented shells are built similar to stave shells but instead of the grain going vertical it's horizontal. Thus allowing the drum to have considerable less glue than plied shell for a more organic sound. But it is also more stable than a steam bent or stave shell. This is what gives the shells the look of that traditional butcher block look. 

Walnut has a warm/round sound characteristics with a Janka hardness scale of 1010.

This 5x14 shell is finished with a hand rubbed urethane over danish oil finish. This 10 lug drum is the outfitted in chrome hardware as follows, tube lugs, 2.33 hoops, Trick throw off, Evans drumheads, and Puresound wires.
