Atelier Z BabyZ-4J Vintage - Surf Green

The Atelier Z BabyZ-4J Vintage is the much anticipated newest version of the beloved BabyZ. This version, for the first time, is a passive, vintage style J-bass. This is the first offering from Atelier Z that is made in China. It features pickups made in Japan, specifically for this instrument. This BabyZ has a powerful sound, unexpected from a Passive Short Scale model. Each one is set up by Atelier Z Japan. This is a very limited production run. It is available in 6 colors and we have secured 2 in each color for the US market.This stunning BabyZ is finished in Surf Green with a tortoiseshell pickguard and chrome hardware. It features a 30" scale, 19 fret Maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and pearl dot inlay. The hardware includes elephant ear style tuners and the 2 saddles bridge has 18mm string spacing. The incredible tone is based on the vintage J-style bass and is provided by a pair of passive Atelier Z NEW BabyZ-4J pickups. The controls are M'Vol, Balance, M'Tone. We include a gig bag, as always. This BabyZ weighs a super easy to handle 7.8 lbs.
