ZOOM model: ECM-3 three-meter-long (6 ft.)extension cable - allows to locate the Mic capsule at a distance from the recorder, such as on a boom. It is for the models Zoom H5 and H6 Handy Recorders, and for: Q8 Handy Video Recorder, U-44 Handy Audio Interface, and for ZOOM F4 and F8 Multi Track Field Recorders. The built-in three-prong action mount and the included hot shoe adapter allows for ZOOM Mic Capsules to be placed at a different location than the recorder itself, such as: on tripods, boom poles, DSLRs, and much more - without sacrificing your ability to monitor recordings and adjust your settings while recording. Also handy, if using the Zoom recorder as a USB audio interface: the recorder close to the computer - the capsule where it needs to be.
