Original Vintage Late 70's Gibson Les Paul "chainsaw" Protector Case
Generation 2 case in good condition inside and out / very clean / no funky odors
Plush Red interior is in excellent condition
1977-1980 (approximately)
3 metal hinges across the back
Interior case pocket is complete with Gibson branded lid.
Should also fit an SG style guitar.
Note: Price has been lowered and the case re-listed due to the imperfections described below:
*One of the three plastic latches is broken, but the case still closes securely, and the broken latch is included in the sale. Occasionally you can find replacement latches here* on Reverb for about $12.
*The ribbon connecting the bottom of the case to the top lid is detached on one side
*There are two chips in the case edge/lid closure: one near the bottom is less than 1 inch, and the other, in the lid near the headstock, is slightly more than 1 inch (see last 4 photos for detail)
Otherwise the case is quite clean, top and bottom, inside and out.
