Spruce top, mahogany sides and back, mahogany 3-piece neck with volute, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, block inlay on the fingerboard, and double X bracing inside, which is typical of this period. Tight and crisp sound unlike the round shoulder period. It features a rugged and powerful sound similar to its looks. There are crack repair marks from the 1st string side of the fingerboard to the bottom of the sound hole, but reinforcement has been applied from the back. There is a small dent on the 6th string side of the neck grip, and there are some scratches and abrasions here and there, but considering the passage of about 50 years, there are relatively few scratches and dents.
