Drake Custom 4 string, Model 4 bass guitar - 33 inch scale - Case and Shipping included
Fully customized bass built by master luthier Andrew Drake of Drake Custom Bass. Mint condition and an absolute dream to play. It was built in 2020 (serial number 102820). Case and shipping both included in the price. Andrew has agreed to recertify the warranty to the new owner.
Recordings of the bass can be provided upon request.
BODY:
- Roasted Swamp Ash back wood, topped with Myrtle wood
- Black accent line separates the top from core wood
- Matching Swamp Ash wood laminated cover over the electronics cavity
- Finish is durable low gloss urethane, which is easy to clean and maintain
NECK:
- Bolt on neck is quarter sawn roasted Maple with an Ebony fret board
- Fast-playing C shape
- 24 small gauge stainless steel frets
- 12 inch fretboard radius
- 1.5 inch width nut, made of black Tusq
- Peghead face is Myrtle wood matching body top wood
- Dual action truss rod and carbon fiber stab bars installed for rigidity and strength, with heel access
- Luminlay side dot marks that glow blue in low light
- Finished with hard wax oil which can easily be replenished every so often
ELECTRONICS:
- Aguilar DCB-D1 dual ceramic bar 4-string bar bass pickups, offering a strong output and full range of tone
- Aguilar OBP-3TK/PP 3-band boost/but onboard active preamp with separate Treble, push/pull Midrange frequency, and Bass Pots
- Control configuration: Volume push/pull bypass, Blend, Bass, Mid (push/pull for Midrange frequency), Treble
- Active 9 volt battery with preamp
- Side output jack
HARDWARE:
- Tuners: Hipshot Ultra-lite, black
- Bridge: Hipshot Aluminum A style with 19mm spacing
- Control knobs: Gucci style
- Dunlop strap locks
