The 173 is Höfner's most famous solid body guitar, an icon of 1960s German guitar building. The body is covered in vinyl, and decked out with 3 Höfner diamond single coil pickups and a smooth vibrato system. The electronics have been cleaned and work perfectly, the frets are still good and the neck is comfy and straight - this guitar is ready to play.
Condition: good, without any repairs and ready to play. The vinyl has yellowed, and it has shrunk a bit around the neck pocket. The tuners have been replaced (the newer ones are Fender-style and a lot better than the originals
