This is my 2002 Ontario era PC1 that I picked up a while back, in a nice custom stained, oil finish. The top is amazing and has a nice dark flame maple neck.
Back in the day, you could easily request a custom color, or an oil finish like this one, and order black hardware instead of gold.
They would stain the body, and then 2-3 coats of gunstock oil to get the shiny finish.
I did not buy this from the original owner, so I cannot confirm if this rolled off the assembly line with black or gold hardware.
There is 1 small imperfections that is shown in the last photo, and overall in great condition for being over 20 years old.
It does have a FU Tone brass block and red heavy-duty springs replaced prior to me and originals are not included. It comes with the original case, hang tag, warranty and instructions.
Im rearranging my categories in my displays, so this one does not fit in with the others currently.
Comes from a non-smoking home.
