With a satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, the Gibson Acoustic L-00 Special is a small-bodied 6-string. This compact acoustic features a solid spruce top, scalloped X-bracing, and mahogany back and sides to provide you with the dry, punchy, and balanced sound . The L-00 Special comes with LR Baggs electronics and Grover Rotomatic tuning machines. Finally, a high-end collection of hardware further bolsters this guitar’s feel and function, including a rosewood belly bridge, along with a nut and saddle crafted from self-lubricating TUSQ.
The L-00 Special has an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, as compared to the gloss finish of Gibson Acoustic’s standard lineup. Satin finish is thinner & more responsive than a full gloss coat.
