Between 1966 and 1973. The A554 features - typically Japanese - exceptionally high quality workmanship and an attention to detail that is hard to find today.
The Aria A554 is a great instrument, very easy to play and with a delicate sound. The top wood chosen is a now honey stained solid cedar while the back and sides are made of great grained rosewood. The wood quality and general workmanship are excellent and cannot be found in this price range today.
The sound of the processed woods is truly gorgeous: both trebles enriched with abundant harmonics and basses gently humming in the belly cavity come out carefree and, together with the age of the guitar, give it a great base for a variety of music and playing styles.
Despite being almost 50 years old, the playability is still great: the flat D-shaped neck profile, the low string action (3.5mm XII fret low E string) as well as the 52.5mm wide nut leave nothing to be desired and allow effortless changes even in the higher registers.

Some scratches and a lil rash, but for being a 1960’s guitar it has maintained its condition well.
