Here’s a 1962 Fender Jazzmaster in Lake Placid Blue with a matching headstock — straight from the golden age of both Jazzmasters and Fender itself.
This guitar was previously purchased from Emerald City Guitars.
It’s all original except for the following professionally done updates:
- Lake Placid Blue refinish and relic by Joe Riggio
- Excellent refret
- Mastery bridge installed (original bridge included)
- Rewound pickups
- Replaced vintage volume & tone knobs
Specs:
- Serial Number: #71233
- Neck Date: 1-62
- Neck Profile: Slim C (0.78" at 1st fret / 0.98" at 12th fret)
- Nut Width: 1.65"
- Weight: ~8 lbs
I’ve included a link to a demo video recorded on an iPhone by the ECG folks (through what I believe was a Carr Rambler). I also have a few other mic’d demos available — happy to email them upon request.
Feel free to reach out with any questions, and thanks for looking!
