This 1974 Gibson Hummingbird, purchased from the original owner’s family, is in very clean condition with a vibrant red finish that has held up exceptionally well, which is rare to find on these guitars. It has had a professional neck reset and features a rebuilt Brazilian rosewood bridge, carved to match the original. The guitar delivers a loud, dry tone with a midrange growl, making it an excellent choice for both studio work and songwriting. With a slimmer tapered neck profile and a 1 11/16" nut width, it plays effortlessly. The beautiful spruce top and mahogany back and sides provide a great low end, midrange punch, and a distinct character in the treble. The square pearl inlays on the fretboard add a unique touch. Comes with the original case.
