Jose Ramirez 1A 1974. Excellent condition with only minimal signs of play and handling wear. This guitar has hardly been played.

The rosewood is likely Indian, or it could be very straight-grained Brazilian rosewood. My understanding is they were still using lacquer during this year so it does not exhibit any of the finish clouding that later years often show.

The scale length is the older 664mm.

The nut is 54 mm. The string spacing is 45 mm on center. (See last photo)

Action at the 12th fret is 6mm on the bass side and 4 mm on the treble side. If you are familiar with the 1A guitars then you are aware that the action on the concert classical is much higher than a typical classical. Height of the low E above the top a the bridge is 11mm. The saddle is showing about 2mm on the bass side.

One repaired crack on the back, properly cleated by a pro repair person.

Extremely minor finger nail marks on the treble side Of the soundboard.

Minor finish abrasion where the soundboard meets the bottom edge.

Minor mark along grain at tail block, presumable from a string being fed through the block.

Fret ends on bass side over the fingerboard extension show signs of contraction.

Neck and headstock are free of dings. Original tuners are smooth.

The case is relatively lightweight and does not seem to have a brand name on it. It has three secure latches unlike any I've seen. I suspect it is European.

Shipping is a very high estimate to Canada. Insurance on this will be very expensive. Please read and understand all of my seller terms and conditions. My preference is local delivery within Vancouver and Vancouver Island areas. I may ship within Canada, but will consider USA and other locations but purchaser is responsible for all fees, taxes, duties and tariffs charged.
