Gretsch Country Club 1956 Sunburst in Excellent condition. Purchased in 2017 from SS Vintage Guitars in Chicago, one previous owner.
Original sunburst finish, gold guard, binding, original frets, full C maple neck, ebony fretboard, Grover Imperial tuners and hardshell case are all in immaculate condition. Original DeArmond Dynasonic pickups are well balanced and articulate. Some signs of minor corrosion on outer edge of the bridge pickup ring, does not affect playability.
Vintage B6 Bigsby and Tru-Arc bridge installed by Sydney luthier and vintage expert Piers Crocker. Original Melita bridge and "G" tailpiece are included inside the original "snowflake" vintage case pocket.
This is a wonderful golden-age guitar - equally suited to country twang, rockabilly, jazz and anywhere in between. Essentially a White Falcon without the bling!
Ships from Sydney Australia. I'm a player/collector - not a dealer - and would be happy to answer your questions about this beautiful guitar.
