This is the initial version of the DF-2 sold from October 1984 to April 1994, renamed "SUPER Distortion~" due to licensing issues!

Added to the hard distortion circuit that creates deep distortion is a circuit that allows you to get a feedback effect just by continuing to press the pedal no matter what the amp setting. The OVERTONE control adjusts the overtone frequency. The 2-mode pedal switch allows you to switch between distortion and feedback effects with a single pedal operation. The TONE control emphasizes the lows to the left of the center, and as you turn it to the right, the mid-highs increase. A good old-fashioned distortion sound reminiscent of American hard rock from the '70s and '80s.
