NOTE: At the very end of the description - I have links for other BOSS bottom plates that I have listed.

Up for grabs is a used genuine Boss bottom plate (NO: rubber padding, NO label, NO serial number). This bottom plate for a BOSS compact sized pedal that has the type of power jack that is not directly mounted on to the circuit board. As you can se in the pictures -- the center areas of / near the BACK Edge has factory made small cut out to accomadate the power jack type that I just mentioned.

• Pictures # 4 to # 7 are ONLY provided as a reference - so that you can see the type of Boss compact sized pedal that this bottom plate fits on. The pedal shown is NOT included and the internal components of the pedal shown are NOT included.

This bottom plate (specifically from mid 1980s) was originally on a very used DS-1 Madr in Japan pedal. But it can go on a different model / different year Boss pedal that has the type of power jack that is not directly mounted on to the circuit board. SEE pictures # 6 and # 7.

Even though this Bottom plate was on a JAPAN made Boss compact sized pedal - it can be for Taiwan made ones that have the power jack that is not directly mounted on to the circuit board.

The bottom plate is made of metal.

This bottom plate was repainted (by me) with two different types and shades of gray spray paint..

• OUTER side: semi-gloss gray finish
• INNER side: flat gray finish.

The back end has a factory made small cut out (it is like a 1/2 rectangle shape) for power jack

Since this bottom plate had a lot of wear, a lot of imperfections, and a lot of corrosion from heavy use and from age - -- I decided to take off (and throw out) the bottom rubber padding piece because it was in very bad shape. Then I sand off the corrosion, etc off of both sides of the the metal bottom. Then I repainted the metal bottom plate. I did this several month ago- so the paint is very dry.

NOTE when I got the pedal that this bottom plate is from -- it was already missing the bottom label - so I never had it.

In case you're wondering - I no longer have the pedal (sold it a few years ago / paired it with a different bottom plate).

I did NOT go overboard with the spray painting. Main reason is because I was not sure whether or not the next owner would want to relic this bottom plate [since this style Boss bottom plate is usually (commonly) found on earlier (vintage) model Boss pedals].

• The INNER Side could use a second coat I'll leave that up to you do decide on. The paint is on light (it is a primer coat) - so it looks a little blotchy.
• The OUTER Side has a decent coat of paint (it has two coats). But after it was painted and the paint was dried good. I did put this on a different Boss pedal and used it for a while. So the OUTER Side of this bottom plate has some not too light / not too deep hair-line scratches. And it has has a couple of tiny nicks. Also it has some tiny creavases / very tiny impressions that are natural imperfections in the metal.

Since it is missing the rubber on the bottom side - this will be a good bottom plate to put on a BOSS pedal that will primarly be used on a pedal board.

NOTE: I'm including a new set of black round rubber feet - in case you don't use the pedal that you are planning to put this BOTTOM PLATE on -- on a pedal board.

I took many pictures of this BOTTOM PLATE and there a few pictures of the FEET that I'm includeding. Feel free to ask for more pictures.  Please message me with any questions.
