Up for grabs is used genuine Boss BLUE Label JAPAN Bottom Plate - MISSING Serial Number. From 1990. This Boss BLUE Label JAPAN Bottom Plate was originally from a DD-3 pedal -- NO pedal / NO other items / NO screws.

As you can see - the center area of the back edge is designed to have a small cut out for the older style power jack (the type that is NOT mounted to the PCB board).

NOTE: At one time - this bottom plate did have the serial number on the bottom plate. Unfortunately the small label with the serial number came off. In case you're wondering - I do not have the very small label with the serial number.

To make sure that you get the correct item for your Boss pedal - here is some informative info:

NOTE: aside from the version DD-3 pedal (No pedal included) that uses this type of bottom plate (with the cut out for the power jack) with the BLUE Bottom Label JAPAN (which should have the very small serial number label on the bottom Blue Bottom Label) - there are NOT that many other model BOSS pedals that this bottom plate goes with.

NOTE: the Boss DD-2 and the Boss DSD-2 (NO pedals included) had a similar bottom plate (as the bottom plate in this listing) - but the DD-2 and the DSD-2 were designed to NOT have the serial number on the bottom label - the serial number label was in the battery compartment. So the bottom label information for the DD-2 and DSD-2 are slightly different that the item for sale in this listing.

NOTE: In December 1990 and afterwards the DD-3 pedal (NO pedal included) was / is designed to have the smaller style power jack which is mounted to the PCB board. Therefore - the bottom plates on DD-3 pedal made from December 1990 and afterwards do NOT have the small cut out on the center area of the back edge. I am only mentioning this so that you get the correct bottom plate for your BOSS pedal.

• A few other Boss model pedals made with Blue JAPAN Labels WITHOUT the small cut out on the center area of the back edge of the bottom plate and have the very small serial number label on the bottom Blue Bottom Label are : DC-3 and PS-2. NO pedals included.

NOTE: there is / was a version of the CH-1 and a version of the CE-5 that did have a BLUE Label - but it was made in TAIWAN and it did NOT have the cut out on the bottom plate. This is info that it would have

This Boss BLUE Label JAPAN Bottom Plate is in used condition - but looks great for its age (34 years old). Not perfect - but not too abused. SEE pictures.

I put it's condtion as GOOD. But I feel that it's in between GOOD and VERY GOOD shape - especially considering its age.

I took many pictures of this item - so you can get a very good idea of the conditon of this item. Feel free to ask for more pictures.

There may be some imperfections that I overlooked.   There may be some imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures.   And - there maybe some imperfections show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person (like glares and dust specks.
