Hand-wired clone of the Greer Amps Royal Velvet, which emulates the preamp section of a Vox AC30.
From my experience, these sound fine when used as a traditional overdrive in front of your amp, but they really excel as a low-gain platform, adding bright, jangly Vox color to your non-Vox amp rather than a ton of drive. Then throw another mid-gain overdrive in front of it, and you're in business!
Controls: Volume, Tone, Gain
(Unless you know what you're doing, do not touch the internal trim pots, as they control the bias of the transistors and were optimized using a multimeter.)
