This Fender Player II Stratocaster is a brand new instrument that has been refurbished by MIRC. MIRC is the largest buyer and supplier of name brand refurbished instruments. Somewhere in the manufacturing or shipping process the guitar got a ding in the finish on the front. (See photos) MIRC clearcoated it and buffed it smooth.
