Stereophonic Gizmotronic Symphonic Harmonic Perambulator - Dual Chorus

Based on a modified EHX ‘Small Clone’ chorus circuits, this unit incorporates two such circuits with independent ‘Depth’ and modulation/LFO ‘Rate’ enhancements and an LFO ‘SYNC’ feature that allows each chorus to use their own LFO (modulation) or either of the two LFOs can used to control the modulation rate of both chorus circuits.

There are two independent INPUTs and two independent OUTPUTs.  Chorus 1 is on the right and chorus 2 is on the left.

When only the”IN 1” input (guitar) and “OUT 2” output (amp) jacks are used, both chorus circuits work together in series, layering their respective effect together for a mono signal. 

Internally, the “OUT 1” jack feeds into the “IN 2” switching jack. And when a plug is inserted into the “IN 2” jack, the connection from “OUT 1” to “IN 2” is broken and the left-side chorus is no longer fed directly from the right-side chorus.

Using “IN 1” and “OUT 1” & “OUT 2”, one provides a true stereo output pair of signals to send to two different amps; while each maintains its own setting responses. Only when the “LFO SYNC” switch is not in the centered position will the “Rate” on the selected side act as the “Rate” (modulation) control for both choruses.

Using just “IN 1” & “OUT 1” or “IN 2” & “OUT 2” uses just one of chorus circuits respectively and one can have two, solitary choruses. (Note: when the “LFO SYNC” switch is not in the centered position will the “Rate” on the selected side act as the “Rate” (modulation) control for both choruses.)

Uses +9V, 2.1mm negative-center DC jack. Current draw: ~15mA. Power supply not included.
