One look at this guitar and your mind conjures up surf tones of the sixties, but this Mosrite 1965 Reissue is so much more than just a surf-rock guitar...
Here we have one of the classics. A 1965 Mosrite Mark-I model reissue from the highly sought after and celebrated "Excellence Series" These guitar were built with an attention to detail and construction that rival some of the best Mosrites I have played. The look and feel of these guitars is spectacular and I feel that these are consistently great guitars. The neck is perfectly straight and everything works flawlessly. The pickups are strong and sound great. These guitars have a character, feel, vibe, and mojo all their own. The neck is slim and fast but still feels substantial in your palm. The speed comes from the super low frets (think late 50's Les Paul Custom Fretless Wonder). There is no doubt that vintage guitars sound better than anything on the planet. Something about old woods and electronics just have a certain magic. These dual single coils offer warm and mellow vintage tones that are perfect for just about anything, but don't let the cute looks fool you. This guitar can growl when driven and rock with the best of them. This guitar has been cared for throughout her life. This is evidenced by the original frets being in such good condition. There is no pitting on the fret board and the body has only light wear. This classic guitar is definitely in very good condition for its age. It has some small dings, nicks and light surface scratches but overall great shape. The tremolo bar and hardware are in perfect working order and the pick-guard has no cracks and is in stellar condition as well. Comes with its original and some case candy. She weighs 7 lbs 1 oz's!

Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy
We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:
- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.
- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.
We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.
Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.
We are a small business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.
